Born Inverkip, resided Busby. Son of the late Mr & Mrs Thomas MacIntyre.

Enlisted Glasgow. He is remembered at the Lieutenants Duff Memorial Hall, Busby

"Killed 31st October, Private Thomas McIntyre, A. and S.H., aged 24 years, youngest son of Thomas McIntyre, Cathkin Place, Busby, beloved brother of Mrs John Howie, 38 Paisley Road, Renfrew."
