SON OF DAVID AND JESSIE WATSON, OF 35, NELSON ST. WEST, GREENOCK. Brother of Private George Watson. Employed by Messrs William White & Son and then by Walkers till his retirement.

Transferred to Hospital in East Mudros. Wounded twice more in leg and arm. Almost lost his leg but a surgeon saved it. Served Gallipoli, Egypt, Palestine & France. Hospitalised Lord Derby War Hosp, Warrington, Penbroke House, Lytham. Disembodied 3/3/19

He served with his brother George, who was killed at Gaza 11/11/17 Tom according to family legend tried to go to the aid of his brother but was told not to. George signed up aged 16 and his father went to say he was underage but the recruiter believed George
