Born Greenock. Enlisted in Sydney NSW. Next of kin his mother, Rachel hannah, 68 Wellington Street, Greenock. He was a joiner who had emigrated to Canada and from there to Australia.

Enlisted 17/11/1914. Was wounded at Gallipoli
