Henry O’Hare

Henry was born in Coatbridge and worked as an iron straightener. He met his wife while training at Fort Matilda with the RSF. Lived at 2 Ingleston St.

Was in the RSF in 1913. Mobilised at Ayr in August 1914. Sent to Depot - presumably at Greenock. Served in France 1914 - wounded 22/4/1915 Transferred to Labour Corps

Had a 20% disablement as a result of deafness and gsw to right hand and left ankle
