32 year old Holder On. 

Attested 14th September 1914 with 3rd Grenadier Guards. GSW to arm and head, 24th April 1916. Transfered to Royal Engineers 4th April 1917. Deserted from the 4th August 1917 until 31st August 1918, sentenced to 8 months detention.
