Son of Mrs. Agnes McGarry, 9 Port Glasgow Road, Greenock. Engine driver & Blacksmith. He had been sent for Admiralty work at Russell & Co in January 1916. Died at Greenock Infirmary having been discharged from army on 1st June. He had been given a gratuity for an undisclosed disability of less than 20%
