Brothers Ebenezer and Joseph both enlisted as well. Ebenezer also fell. Son of Sir Joseph Mackay, Bart., Duchal, Kilmacolm.

William S. Maclay, 2nd Lieutenant; 8th Scottish Rifles, died of wounds received in action at Dardanelles, 28th June, aged 19.l.
