William McGhee

Worked as an Apprentice Caulker with Russell & Co.

Article on William in Lithgow Magazine 1958. States he was born in Port Glasgow. Started his apprenticeship in 1909. Served at Gallipoli and then the rest of his time at home. Worked at Lithgows East Yard. Then to Ayrshire Dockyard as Foreman Caulker & Driller. Married with 2 daughters.

Wounded 12th July 1915. Admitted to Cairo Memorial Hospital. Disembodied (discharged) 6th March 1916.

Mother was Next of Kin.
