William Campbell Suttie

SON OF JOHN AND JEANNIE SUTTIE, OF "LEVENBANK," BAWHIRLEY RD., GREENOCK. An accountant with the Clydesdale Bank in Tillicoultry, previously working in Port Glasgow. Well known at Crawfurdsburn Church.

Occupation: assistant to John Campbell, of the Clydesdale Bank, Tillicoultry. He was secretary of the Tillicoultry branch of the British Red Cross and worked with the Y.M.C.A. He had been a member of Tillicoultry Boys Brigade. He had only been at the front for about three weeks when he was killed.
