Enlisted 12/11/14. With Benbow Battalion B/156 from 22/2/15, transferred to Nelson Battalion 12/6/15-20/11/16. Fought at the Dardanelles. 

Died of wounds (shell wound to abdomen) in 5th general Hospital Rouen. 

Buried at St. Sever Cemetery Extension, Rouen, France. Grave Reference O. II. Q. 8.
