Killed in Action at Hill 70 - possibly 60

Samuel Brown was born on 14 April 1885 and came from Wigtownshire, Scotland. Emigrating to Canada before the war, he was employed as a Teamster. He attested for the Canadian Expeditionary Force at Winnipeg on 18 December 1914, having previously served 5 years with the Glasgow Highlanders (T.F.).
