SON OF SAMUEL AND JANE ALLISON, OF 28, WEST BURN ST., GREENOCK. NATIVE OF GLENLUCE, WIGTOWNSHIRE. Worked with G & SW Railway. His father died in 1921. He had served with the Seaforths in India in 19th century and was in the Defence Corp in 1915.
