Was a 17 year old Labourer living at 12 Nile Street, Greenock.

Attested 24th Janurary 1912. With the British Expeditionary Force from 3rd May 1915 until 22nd October 1916. Transferred 17th May 1916 to 260 Lowland Brigade.
