Born 9th Dec. 1894 ; An Apprentice Engineer. Son of John Banks, of 33 Bank Street, Greenock & resided with his father in 1914.
Robert visited Lyme Regis when he was stationed at Blandford Camp and stayed with a local family. The photograph, postcard and address were kindly provided by the great grandson of the lady with whom Robert and his pal Harold stayed - Vernon Rattenbury.
