SON OF THE LATE JOHN AND MARION RODGER ALLAN, OF GREENOCK, RENFREWSHIRE.

Son of John Allan, Timber Measurer, 48 Brougham Street. Educated at Academy. Went to South Africa in 1911 and settled at South Coast Junction, Natal as a Sugar Boiler

Enlisted on 25th March 1917. Killed in action near Cambrai. Remembered at Pozières Memorial, France, Panels 95-98.
