Eldest son of Peter and Stella Lorcet, 4 Garrioch Drive, Kelvinside, Glasgow. Born Kirn, Argyllshire. 1872 – Restaurant Francais opened at 31 Brougham Street, Greenock. The proprietor was Monsieur Pierre Lorcet. His father died in 1874 aged 41.
