Holder-on living at 15 Grace Street, Partick. His parents Peter & Mary lived at 100 Orchard Street, Greenock

Attested in December 1914 and served with the 10th Battalion before eventually joining the 5th Battalion in November 1917. He had been wounded in 1915 with a gunshot to the thigh but died of bronco-pneumonia following influenza
