Born 7/9/1895, Apprentice angle ironsmith. At time of enlistment he was staying with Uncle and mother. Son OF THE LATE ALEXANDER AND MARY ANN STEWART EASTON, OF DUNDEE; NEPHEW AND ADOPTED SON OF ALEXANDER TAYLOR KEIR, OF 4, CLYDE ST., PORT GLASGOW.

Enlisted 3/11/14. Collingwood Bn, D Company 3rd Platoon 4/2/15. Transferred to Howe Bn 8/6/15-2/9/15. Declared Dead 2/9/15. Buried by Rev F Cairns at Orchard Gully, Gallipoli

Served as Stewart Easton. True name Patrick Stuart Easton. Signed twice as Stewert and this was accepted as his official RND forename. His birth certificate shows he was registered as Patrick Stuart Easton(his mothers maiden name was Stuart) However his death cert was issued in his offical RND name of Stewart 'in ignorance' but that it should stand.
