Ninian Parker Laird

Second son of the late Robert Laird (d. June 1911) and Agnes Parker (d. September 1932). Robert was a farmer at Greenock at Bow Farm and later in Kirby Muxloe. Brother of Jane Neilson Laird (d. July 1905). Ninian was a surveyor

Honours

Award the Distinguished Conduct Medal. For conspicuous gallantry and devotion to duty when in charge of stretcher bearers during operations. Owing to his fine example all the wounded were collected in spite of shell and machine gun fire.
