Neil McDonald Macleod

Son of John and Elizaberh MacLeod, 60 Belville Street, Greenock. Born in Scotland. Fromerly worked at John Kincaids

SS Yochow, built by Scott & Co., Greenock in 1901 and owned at the time of her loss by China Navigation Co. Ltd., London, was a British steamer of 2.127 tons. On March 20th, 1918, Yochow, on voyage from Suez, was sunk by the German submarine U-33 (Gustav Sieß), 54 miles N3/4E of Port Said. 50 persons were lost.
