Enlisted 6th April 1908. With Mediterranean Expeditionary Force from 1st June 1915 to 14th April 1916. With British Expeditionary Force 20th October 1916 to 8th November 1917. Hospitalised with heart issues. 

Buried at Gaza War Cemetery, Palestine. Grave Reference XII. F. 2.
