Only son of Mrs William Colville Buchanan, of 62 Finnart Street, Greenock, and the late William C Buchanan. Friend of McPherson and Allan. Apprenticed at Cairds. Worked in the Drawing Office of the Fairfield Coy. Was in Greenock Wanderers 1st team and in West of Scotland

Killed in Action in France.
