John Brown McGeachy

Born Campbeltown. Son of Malcolm McGeachy and Fiona Brown.

Home address was 6 Duncan Street, Greenock. 

Committed suicide at 4 Lowther Street, Birkenhead. Cause of death: Asphyxia consequent of haemorrage, cutting of Trachea and jugular with a razor whilst insane.

Enrolled 1st April 1905. Joined Drake Battalion A/137, 16th September 1914. Served on Hermione, Intaba.

1914 Star returned to Mint 1934 - forfeited by desertion.
