HUSBAND OF EFFIE SINCLAIR, OF 76, DEMPSTER ST., GREENOCK, SCOTLAND.

Sunday Post of June 17 1917 states he won his commission as a result of gallantry. Born Inverness he was in the Greenock Police Force. Several times wounded he fell at Vimy Ridge leading his company. Joined up in Canada at the outbreak of war.
