Son of Alexander P and Mary Ann Cameron, 7 Royal Street, Gourock. He had been an apprentice engineer with Blake Barclay

Previously 49711 1/6th Battalion. Had been wounded. After recovery he joined the 5th in Palestine. Died at Johnstone Military Hospital of wounds received in Palestine.
