In the attached photo - sitting on his knee is his daughter Elisabeth Beckett Mitchell and standing next to him is his stepdaughter Isa Malone. This photo is around 1940.
James (b1895) also had a brother William (b1893) who was also in the 1/5th Argylls, William survived also, his other brother Edward (b1891) was is 2nd Btn HLI and died 25/9/15.
