Born Port Glasgow. Lived at "Cintra" Bawhirley Rd aged 20, Chartered Accountant Apprentice

Enlisted 16/11/1914 at Inverness. Posted BEF 10/3/15 - 22/11/16 He had received a GSW to the scalp on 12 July 1916. He died as a result of a head wound on 20/11/16. Treated at III Corps Main Dressing Station. His father later queried the authorities about his property being returned
