James Brown McIndoe

Lived 4 Nelson Street, Glebe, Greeenock with his father, D McIndoe. Father was his next of kin.

Employed as a shipyard fitter. 

Described as 5 foot, 1 1/2 inches tall with a fresh complexion, brown hair and blue eyes. Was unable to swim. 

Joined 13th April 1904. Promoted to Able Seaman 1st January 1909, Leading Seaman 4th November 1914, Petty Officer 14th April 1915 and to Chief Petty Officer on 12th November 1915.
