Address also given as Mearns St. Lived on Gateside Avenue when he enlisted. Clerk in Caird & Co. Younger son of Mr William Stewart. Husband of Ethel Rudney. His brother WR Stewart was drowned by the sinking of the SS Clan Ranald at Australia in 1909

Served 8 years with the Territorials. Died of wounds in clearing station.
