SON OF JANE AND THE LATE GEORGE JOHNSTONE, 53 ARDGOWAN Street, PORT GLASGOW. Died of gunshot wounds at a Casualty Clearing Station. He had worked in the office of the Caledonian Steam Packet Co at Gourock. His father George, had been the stationmaster at Bogston.
