Died on September 16, 1916, at Manchester Hospital, from wounds received in action, was the second son of the late William Malcolmson, Mayfield, Portlaw. Buried at Clonmel. He was a Quaker.
Born in Wexford he was educated at Clifton College and Pembroke, Cambridge University. Played cricket, rugby and rowed for the college. Came to Greenock in 1912 to take up an apprenticeship at Scotts Engineering Works. He played for the 1st XV at the Wanderers.
