George McPherson

Born Greenock. Son of the late John McPherson; husband of Margaret McPherson, of Elmbank, Cove, Dumbartonshire. Had been a postman but enlisted witht he 2nd Argylls and served for 8 years in India and South Africa. Had been a drill instructor till being sent to France on 26th March 1918.
