Glasgow Herald 27th March 1915 - Spelt Galbreath on Memorial "Mr and Mrs Duncan Galbraith, Ann Street, Greenock, have received intimation that their son, Private Duncan Galbraith, 1st Battalion Seaforth Highlanders, was killed in action on March 12. Private Galbraith enlisted at the beginning of September, and with his regiment was attached to the Indian Expeditionary Force. Before enlisting he was a fireman with the Brewers' Sugar Company."
