David Rutherford Adams

Lived at Estcourt, Kilmacolm. Graduate of Glasgow University. Son of John F Adams of James Adams & Co, Tradeston Saw Mills. David Rutherford Adams was born in Glasgow, Scotland in 1887, the son of a timber merchant. He attended Glasgow University as a medical student between 1904 and 1910, where he met and formed a lifelong friendship with fellow medical student Osborne Henry Mavor (James Bridie). He married an Isabella and had a son John Campbell Strathie Adams. Died aged 40 in 1927.  Worked in Torbay on his return. 

Seniority date 4/7/17. 

Served in Salonica and Italian Fronts.
