Born June 10 1891. Enlisted Nov 10 1914 at Victoria BC. SON OF ALEXANDER AND MARION WADDELL, OF ORPHAN HOMES, BRIDGE OF WEIR, SCOTLAND. NATIVE OF GREENOCK, SCOTLAND. Brother of Mrs J Coupar of Cupar. Went to Canada in July 1914 to take up ranching, along with the youngest son of the late Rev James B Thomson of Greenbank.
