Son of A. J. Gamble, a well known local Comedian and Jenny Mcdade. Parents married in Scarborough. Apprentice Fitter in Scott's. 

Lived 19 Cardwell Road, Gourock. He appears to have died as a result of war injuries.

Wounded 12th July 1915.
